WISER (or Workshops in Information Skills and Electronic Resources) is a programme of classes designed to help you to make effective use of electronic and other library resources in your research and learning. There are still places available on the following WISER sessions this term:

WISER: Getting organised on the web

This session will look at some tools that can help you organise yourself on the web, including social bookmarking services like, bibliophile sites like LibraryThing and My WorldCat, RSS feeds and readers, and customised start pages.

Research: Maximising visibility using ORA

How to use ORA to make it easier for other researchers to find and access your research on the Web. Hands-on training will enable you to deposit an article, poster, conference paper or other research output. Learn how to use Symplectic to deposit research publications in ORA with a couple of clicks.
