Notable Works

The Notable Works project brings together a collection of literary and other works nominated by 46 members of the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford. As Ruth Bird, Bodleian Law Librarian, explains in her introduction to the project, the works selected have 'had an impact, helped shape [the contributors'] thoughts, perhaps provoked controversy or humour, or even guided them through the ceaseless flow of ideas and influences faced on a daily basis.' Among those nominating works are Keble Fellows Dr James Goudkamp and Professor Viktor Mayer-Schönberger.

A similar project, Critical Thinking, was undertaken last year by members of the Saïd Business School.
